Unusually this year we are starting off with a very busy September in that most of this academic year’s children either returned after the summer holidays or are joining us in the first couple of weeks of this term.

Welcome back, we hope you had a lovely break and really enjoyed yourselves.

As this is the Summer term, we are all hoping that the sun shines!!!  We would ask that all children have sunscreen applied before they come in, either in the morning or afternoon. Children who are staying all day, will have it reapplied during the afternoon, if they bring in their own named cream/lotion. Please put it in their bags. We will assume that all children are adequately protected from the sun when they step into the playgroup and therefore will be able to play outside in the sun. PLEASE DON'T FORGET HATS/CAPS.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back, we hope you had a lovely Easter break and really enjoyed yourselves. A warm welcome to all those joining us this term. We are pleased to tell you Cat gave birth to a little girl on the 8th April. Both Cat & baby are doing well.

I would like to thank the staff, who during the first week of the holidays took on the make over of our tired front garden. We now have a log inspired mud pit, a music wall, 2 kitchens, 1 for mud & 1 for loose parts, a spruced-up play house with all manner of exciting “things” inside, new gardening tools, old car tyres turned into planting beds & so much more.

Dear Parents/Carers, Welcome back to all our children and families. We hope you had a lovely break, and a warm welcome to all those joining us again this term. Our topic for this term is "Spring Time and Nature". So lots of planting, digging and hunting for mini beasts (on top and underground), will be taking place, so please send your child/children to Playgroup in clothes that are warm and you don't mind getting dirty. We will dress them in wellies and wetsuits for these activities to help protect their clothes.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to all our families after the Christmas break, we hope you had a wonderful time. Thank you for all the lovely cards and presents the staff received.

We would like to give a warm welcome to all those joining us this term. 

I would like to thank everybody for their generosity and support for the playgroup by taking part in our Christmas raffle and silent auction. In total we raised £488, the raffle made £290, Silent auction £108 and £90 in generous donations from local businesses.
