Welcome to Greendown Playgroup

We provide high quality, inclusive education for pre-school children aged from 2 - 5 years in Grange Park, West Swindon.

Working in partnership with you, the parents and carers to help your children learn and develop.

We are a term time setting offering 38 weeks affordable childcare a year.

We accept children funded for both 15 and 30 hours & tax-free childcare. This can be used on both core & wrap-around hours. An hourly charge will be made for any hours over the 15/30 hour funding. See below for hourly rates.

Our opening hours are: 7:45am – 4:45pm

Our core hours are:

• 8:45am - 11:45am (Morning - 3 hours)

• 11:45am – 2:45pm (Afternoon - 3 hours)

• 8:45am – 2:45pm (Full day - 6 hours)

Wrap-around hours:

• 7:45am - 8:45am

• 2:45pm - 4:45pm

All children are required to attend a minimum of 12 core hours a week.

Wrap-around hours are limited & are not offered on an adhoc basis. Children must do the core hours before/after to take up the wrap-around hours. These need to be booked in the same way as core hours.

A notice period of 4 weeks (term time) is required for all hours.

Hourly Rates

Greendown Playgroup charges the same hourly rate as received from SBC for funded hours. If all funded hours are used at Greendown Playgroup.

All funded hours used at Greendown Playgroup:

• Under 3’s £7.86 per hour

• Over 3’s £5.46 per hour

Additional hours will be charged at £8.50 per hour, if funded hours are used at another setting.

Daily Snack Charge:

• Full Day 50p

• Morning 40p

• Afternoon 20p
